PROJECT 5 - COMPOSITE IMAGE HOAX by Anna D.

ALMOST A LOCAL CELEBRITY

By Anna D.

The Grygla Times uncovered the shocking news that local Corner Pond resident Anna Stripealot was almost a Hollywood star!

Anna told us that a few years ago she grew tired of hanging with the Walleye, Northern and Smelt everyday and just playing keep away from Grandpa’s line and knew that there was something more for her out there; something exciting.

So Anna fought her way through streams, rivers and lakes to reach the thriving fishbowl of Hollywood in the hopes of making it bigger than Jaws. Right away she found a part that she just knew was made for her, the part of a young clown fish called Nemo.

Anna went and auditioned for the famous director Carl Codsup. She sang, she danced, and she laughed, cried and did everything that was asked of her. She was in fine fishy form and as she swam off to rest and await the results she was confident that she was the next big fish star, she knew she would be Nemo.

The next day Anna received a phone call that rattled her to the gills, she was not given the role of Nemo. The director loved her and thought she had great talent, but alas there was just one thing that caused her not to get the part. The director said that she was a great clown fish, but she had guppy lips and you have to be 100% clown for this role.

So Anna swam back to Grygla knowing that her dreams of stardom were out of reach. But thankfully for Grygla Anna didn’t become Nemo because we wouldn’t know what to do without our Anna, the best fish our fairs’ kissing booth has ever had. She raises more money than even Sally Starkist. Who wouldn’t want to kiss those guppy lips!!
